In a glowing review Tom Hallett of The Pulse called Big Ditch Road's latest CD Suicide Note Reader's Companion "pedal steel-and-heartbreak-augmented Americana."

Charlie Parr, just back on US soil from a UK/Ireland tour, belts out unbelievable country blues with his National Resonator Guitar. Not to be missed.

Songwriter par excellence Martin Devaney rounds out the bill with his catchy, hummable Americana.

Buy CDs by all three at The 'Ville (on the south side of the Square).

Advance tickets at The 'Ville and Washington St. Java Co.

Souled American, who graced the DuKum stage in May 2007, is featured in this month's issue of The Believer.

The author, Theodore McDermott, makes his worship of the band clear when he proclaims, "when I listen to music, I listen to Souled American."

A must-read!
