Ike Reilly Sighting!
May 5, 2005
Check out this comment from Chicago rocker Ike Reilly in the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

"I like new experiences...One night we'll be playing out in Kirksville, Missouri, and the next we'll be playing to a bunch of scenesters in the East Village. In our world, you can't have one without the other."

Teen Teen Productions brought Reilly here with his band the Ike Reilly Assassination back in January. Reilly writes great songs inspired by the likes of Johnny Cash and the Clash.

The band played an incredible, raucous show. Look for them back at the DuKum this fall and have a listen at the Assassination's website.

You can read the full article here.

Souled American, who graced the DuKum stage in May 2007, is featured in this month's issue of The Believer.

The author, Theodore McDermott, makes his worship of the band clear when he proclaims, "when I listen to music, I listen to Souled American."

A must-read!
