The ‘Ville (on the south side of the square) is now carrying Kirksville Rocks T-Shirts and some great CDs from bands that have played the DuKum.  
A bevy of great bands are playing this Saturday outside Il Spazio to benefit the United Way 2006 Campaign.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Kirksville Rocks Web Launch show! Friends Like These were brilliant and HappyAss continues to spoil the 'Ville with one rousing show after another. Extra props go out to Nathan Haug and Joe Moccia for making this website happen. Many thanks to both of them.
Look out for some incredible shows in the next few weeks. Steve Ewing (former lead singer of the Urge) plays the DuKum Wednesday, September 28, and The Melismatics, Ouija Radio, and Stop, Thief! were just confirmed for a Friday, October 7 DuKum show!  If that's not enough, Round Barn Blues is next Saturday and the 32nd Annual SPBGMA Bluegrass America Showcase of Bands kicks off Thursday, October 6.
Gritty Twin Cities power pop foursome Friends Like These plays the DuKum tonight with HappyAss.
Daryl Fazio's play Georgia Out of My Mind is running Thursday and Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the Ophelia Parrish Black Box Theater.
Teen Teen Productions donated over $300 from last night’s show to the Red Cross for hurricane relief. Many thanks to The DuKum, Jessie Witherell, Grass Withers, The Foundry Field Recordings and everyone who attended for their generosity. Sincerely, Royce Kallerud
