Lately it seems those uber-hip indie music czars at Pitchfork can't help touting bands just as Kirksvillain is bringing them to town. ![]() Advance Tickets available at Washington St. Java Co. and Vintage Grooves (the vinyl and CD shop across from the Kirksville Post Office).
Wisely, who's played a couple of great gigs here at the DuKum, is gunning for a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The Pine Hill Haints got a great Pitchfork review for their new CD Ghost Dance and they're playing the DuKum Friday, February 29. ![]()

He plays a bunch of songs, talks about recording with Paul McCartney's lead guitarist Rusty Anderson on the new CD, and explains how Jenna Fischer ended up starring in his video for "Through Any Window." And, as you might have heard, he'll be at The DuKum this Friday, January 19 with The Last Minute Jazz Quartet opening.
