As of today, Kirksville Rocks has been live for 3 years!

In that time we've listed almost 2000 local shows, had 42,902 unique hits, and seen tons of great music.

Thanks everyone in the Kirksville area for your immense support. This is just the start.

Lately it seems those uber-hip indie music czars at Pitchfork can't help touting bands just as Kirksvillain is bringing them to town.

This time it's a stellar write-up of Bergen, Norway's Sissy Wish, who play The DuKum Upp this Saturday, March 22 (with Come to Japan).

The upshot: "She wants to dance, damnit, and she wants you dancing with her."

Advance Tickets available at Washington St. Java Co. and Vintage Grooves (the vinyl and CD shop across from the Kirksville Post Office).

Wisely, who's played a couple of great gigs here at the DuKum, is gunning for a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Pine Hill Haints got a great Pitchfork review for their new CD Ghost Dance and they're playing the DuKum Friday, February 29.
